Heavy Equipment Operation and Safety

This 1-day course features classroom training to local government agency employees. Trainees can expect to learn about equipment orientation, proper safety gear, special operation tasks and more. Heavy equipment courses will provide both new operator and refresher safety training for experienced operators. Emergency backup personnel who may be called on to use the equipment in special circumstances such as after a natural disaster or any other reason where no other operators are available are encouraged to participate in these courses. In some states, course may qualify for CEU or PDH credit.
