To reach the national goal of zero transportation officials cannot wait for something to happen before taking action. Maintenance and construction workers on the road daily provide a great asset to help identify potential safety issues. This workshop will focus on maintenance safety solutions construction and maintenance personnel can implement on a daily basis. It will focus on safety issues related to signs and supports, vegetation control and drainage features, using published FHWA documents, which will be provided to all participants.
